New office-bearers of NAREDCO installed

October 30, 2023

Mysore/Mysuru: The installation of new office-bearers of Mysuru Chapter of NAREDCO (National Real Estate Development Council) took place at a private hotel in the city on Friday.

Agriculture Minister N. Chaluvarayaswamy, who spoke after inaugurating the programme, said that the Government is mulling on taking  action against those who develop Layouts illegally without due sanction from the authorities.

Maintaining that he will bring to the notice of Chief Minister Siddharamaiah regarding integrated  development of his (Siddu) home district, he said that Mysuru is as sweet as its famous ‘Mysore Pak’. Noting that the State capital Bengaluru is already overcrowded, he stressed on the need for developing Tier-2 cities such as Mysuru, Mangaluru and Mandya.

Asserting that Karnataka is the fastest growing State in the country in terms of economic development, Chaluvarayaswamy highlighted the role of developers in this growth. But there are some unscrupulous developers who are forming illegal and unauthorised layouts, which is causing hardships to those  who have built houses or own sites there.

Emphasising on the need for real estate developers and all others in the construction industry for following the land laws and other rules and regulations, he called for discipline and dedications among builders, who play a crucial role in the housing and infrastructure sector.

The Minister commended the Mysuru chapter of NAREDCO for its service to the society.

The following were installed as the new office-bearers for the year 2023-25: T.G. Adisheshan Gowda (Chairman), V.C. Ravikumar (President), Dr. M.D. Raghavendra Prasad (Vice-President), P. Vinay Shankar (Hon. Secretary), A.P. Nagesh (Treasurer) and P.S. Gagandeep (Joint Secretary).
