Mysore/Mysuru: The new teams of Indian Academy of Paediatrics (IAP) of Karnataka State, IAP Mysuru district and Mysore Adolescent Health Academy (MAHA) for the year 2024, were installed at a ceremony organised at a private hotel in city this morning.

Dr. Santosh T. Soans, past IAP National President, was the Installing Officer. 

Office-bearers of IAP Karnataka State Branch: Dr. S.N. Moti – President; Dr. K.B. Shashikiran – Secretary and Dr. Shriyan Ashvij – Treasurer.

Office-bearers of IAP Mysuru District: Dr. M.R. Prashanth – President; Dr. Shankaraprasad – Secretary and Dr. Trupthi – Treasurer.

Office-bearers of MAHA: Dr. U.G. Shenoy – Chairperson; Dr. Manini Moudgal – Secretary and Dr. Kanya – Treasurer.

Earlier, Lakshmi Prashanth rendered invocation and IAP President – Mysore 2023 Dr. S.R. Ravish delivered the welcome address. Dr. S.N. Moti delivered the Presidential address. Dr. M.R. Prashanth and Dr. U.G. Shenoy delivered their acceptance speech. Dr. K.B. Shashikiran proposed vote of thanks.

Senior Consultant Paediatrician Dr. S.G. Kasi, delivered a lecture on the topic ‘Errors in vaccination practice’ followed by the AGM of IAP Mysuru and MAHA was held.

Past President of IAP-KSB Dr. Sharanagouda Patil, AHA National Chairperson Dr. Geeta Patil, AHA Karnataka Chairperson Dr. Kishore Baindur, Dr. D. Narayanappa, Dr. M.R. Savitha and others were present.
