Mysuru: Young and promising artiste sisters from Bengaluru, Ramya Vishnubhatla and Soumya Vishnubhatla, are presenting a Karnatak Vocal Duet Concert at the house of Mysore Vasudevacharya in Agrahara here on Sept. 1 at 10.30 am.

They will be accompanied by Vid. Arunachala Karthik on violin, Vid. Trichy S. Gurushyam on mridanga and Vid. Sachin Deviprasad on ghata.

Ramya and Soumya, currently pursuing PU studies, have been in to music since an early age under the guidance of guru Dr. Vidya Raja. They have been performing concerts since a couple of years.

Vid. Arunachala, trained under Vid. C.N. Chandrasekhar  and Vid. Parur M.S. Gopalakrishnan and Vid. Trichy S. Gurushyam, trained under Vid. Srirangam Venkataraman and Vid. B. Harikumar, are senior B-High grade artistes with AIR.

Vid. Sachin, who learnt under Vid. K.N Krishnamurthy and Vidu. Sukanya Ramgopal, is a popular performing artiste with significant concert experience.
