Milk Producers Co-op. Societies’ Employees Welfare Assn. inaugurated

Mysuru: The Mysuru District Milk Producers Co-operative Societies’ Employees Welfare Association has come into existence.

MyMUL (Mysuru Milk Union Limited)  President R. Cheluvaraju inaugurated the Association at a programme held at a Kalyana Mantap near Bannur Road junction on Alanahalli Ring Road here on Sunday.

Speaking on the occasion, Cheluvaraju said that milk production in the district has hit a new high and measures have been taken to manufacture more milk products.

Pointing out that the popular  Nandini brand milk and other products of KMF is being sold in Tamil Nadu, Andhra Pradesh, Maharashtra and other States, he said that efforts are being made to make ‘Nandini’ a global brand, for which all Milk Producer Unions have joined hands.

Noting that the Milk Producers Co-operative Societies are also helping the staff and farmers, Cheluvaraju said that dairying has come to the rescue of farmers who are devastated by crop loss due to drought or floods. 

He called upon the staff of Milk Producer Co-operative Societies to work for the welfare of farmers with a mindset that farmers work is God’s work.

He further assured that MyMUL will make efforts to fulfil the demands of the District Milk Producers Co-operative Societies’ Employees Welfare Association.

MyMUL Director A.T. Somashekar, State Milk Producers Co-operative Societies Federation President S. Shivanagappa and Association President R. Mangala  too spoke on the occasion.

MyMUL Directors  Leela B.K. Nagaraj, B. Neelambike Mahesh, K. Umashankar, Om Prakash, K.G. Mahesh, A. Shivagami Shanmugam and others were present during the inaugural function of the Association.
