Joining the nationwide celebrations, Sadvidya Semi-Residential (SSR) PU College, Vijayanagar 2nd Stage, also celebrated I-Day in the College premises. The celebrations commenced with the unfurling of the National Flag by the chief guest of the day, Dr. B.V. Vasanth Kumar, Assistant Professor, Maharani’s Arts College, Mysuru. The singing group instilled a sense of pride with their soulful rendition of the National Anthem and Vande Mataram. Principal Dr. M.T. Govinde Gowda read out the names of the toppers and distinction holders. The II PUC toppers and distinction holders were felicitated by the chief guest and management members. The chief guest was introduced by L. Shoba, Cultural Committee Convenor, SSR PU College. Ex-President of Sadvidya Educational Institutions M.N. Ramakrishna presided. SSRPU College in-charge Prof. K.S. Hiriyanna, MC Member M.S.K. Narhari Babu were present.
