August 23, 2017

Bengaluru: A day after Kodagu District in-Charge Minister M.R. Seetharam said that action would be initiated against Karnataka Silk Marketing Board Chairman and Congress leader T.P. Ramesh, the latter resigned from the Board and primary membership of the Congress. Ramesh, who had shared the dais with Veena Achaiah, MLC, was in conversation with her, during Independence Day celebrations at Madikeri, when he tried to hold her hand, which she nudged away.

Apart from the CM, Ramesh submitted resignation letters to Seetharam and KPCC Working President Dinesh Gundu Rao.

“It would be suffocating for seniors like me to continue further in the organisation,” Ramesh wrote.
