State-level pick-and-speak contest on Veer Savarkar

The city-based Savarkar Prathistana (Foundation) has organised a State-level pick-and-speak contest for students on the life of Veer Savarkar on Dec. 22 at Bhagini Seva Samaja (BSS) Vidyodaya School in Krishnamurthypuram. The competition has been organised to create awareness among students on freedom fighter Vinayak Damodar Savarkar.

The first, second and third prize winners will get a cash reward of Rs. 5,000, Rs. 3,000 and Rs. 2,000 respectively. The topics for the contest will be given on the spot and the students can speak for not more than three-minutes on the given issue.
