Mysuru: City Professor Dr. Ramakrishna Hegde has been selected for the prestigious “Havyaka Shikshaka Ratna” award given to those who have rendered great service in the field of education by Shri Akhila Havyaka Mahasabha, Bengaluru, on the occasion of World Havyaka Sammelana.

He is currently serving as a Professor and Post-graduate Coordinator in the Department of Computer Science Engineering at Vidyavardhaka College of Engineering (VVCE), Mysuru and also serving as Treasurer of IEEE Mysore Subsection.  The award will be presented to him at the Vishwa Havyaka Sammelana  to be held at Palace Grounds in Bengaluru on Dec. 28.
