Mysuru: Ashokapuram Police, on Jan. 2, have arrested a man on charges of stealing vehicles and have recovered six two-wheelers worth Rs. 5 lakh from him. The accused was arrested near K.G. Koppal in city.

Following the arrest, the Police have solved one case each in Ashokapuram, Devaraja, Kuvempunagar and Nanjangud Town Police Stations and two cases in Lakshmipuram Police Station.

DCP (Crime and Traffic) S. Jahnavi and KR Sub-Division ACP Ramesh Kumar guided Ashokapuram Inspector C. Rohit, Sub-Inspector Pratibha Jangawada and staff Srinivas Prasad, Mehaboob Sahebhalli, Hemanth Kumar, Keerthi, Suhas, Varun and Nalini in the operation.
