Woman killed, another injured in road accident

Mysuru: A woman was killed while another sustained injuries in a series of accident on Bogadi Ring Road here on Friday.

A Kerala registered SUV (KL-77-B-2772), which was speeding on the Service Road of Bogadi Ring Road, hit an electric scooter and a Maruti Alto car near Raja Ramanna Circle killing Roopa (38), wife of Prathap of K. Hemmanahalli, who was riding the electric scooter besides injuring one Mahadevaiah, who was in the car.

DCP (Crime and Traffic) S. Jahnavi, ACP (Traffic) Parashuramappa and staff inspected the spot. Based on the complaint from deceased Roopa’s husband, KR Traffic Police have registered a case against Harshad, who was driving the SUV.
