Mysuru: A body of an infant girl was found near Marigudi at Lakshmikanthanagar in city on Wednesday.

Residents, who noticed the  infant’s body, informed the Police, who reached the spot, conducted inspection besides initiating further action.

The deceased infant is about four to six months old, Police suspected.

Police  have  launched a hunt to trace the infant’s mother.
