The Department of Social Welfare has invited online applications from Scheduled Caste (SC) students to avail cash incentives for scoring high marks in SSLC exam held during academic year 2024-25.

The Department gives a cash incentive of Rs.7,000 to students who score 60 to 74.99% marks and Rs.15,000 marks for those who score 75% or more in their first attempt. Cash incentives will be given irrespective of the income of the students.

SC students, who have studied the syllabus prescribed by the State Government and scored more than 60% in SSLC need not apply if their Aadhaar cards are seeded. Incentive amount will be directly credited to their Bank Account under DBT. Students whose Aadhaar cards are not seeded are required to seed their Aadhaar cards before Dec.31,2025 and submit their applications online by visiting https://swdservices.karnataka.gov.in/ Prize MoneyClientApp/Register or through  swdservices.karnataka.gov.in  Prize Money Application- Register/Apply.

Students who have scored more than 60% marks in 2024-25 SSLC exam under CBSE and ICSC syllabus can apply online.

After submitting applications, students must get the acknowledgement attested to their SSLC marks card, Aadhaar copy and caste certificates by their School Head and submit them to the Office of Assistant Director, Grade-1, Department of Social Welfare, Babu Jagjivanram Building, Adipampa Road, Paduvarahalli, Mysuru.
