Nanjangud: Yatra has been organised as part of Hanuma Jayanti celebrations by Sri Veeranjaneya Dharma Jagruti Balaga in the town tomorrow (June 21).

Krishna Jois, a leader associated with the Balaga, addressed media persons here yesterday and gave details of the Yatra.

MLA Darshan Dhruvanarayan, Chennabasava Swamiji, High Court Advocate Arun Shyam and former MLA B. Harshavardhan will offer floral tributes to the giant idol of Anjaneya in front of Srikanteshwaraswamy Temple at 12 noon, marking the start of Shobha Yatra.

The procession will pass through the main thoroughfares of the town, along with cultural troupes like Kerala Chende, Veeragase, Kamsale, Nandi Kamba, Dollu Kunita, with the tableau of Lord Hanuman and idols of Lord Rama being the added attractions.

Sunil Kumar, Nithin, Srikanth Jois, Arjun and Anand were present at the press meet.
