The Agriculture Department has invited online entries from Agricultural, Horticultural and Dairy farmers who have excelled in farming, for the State-level  ‘Krishi Pandit’  award. The first prize winner will get a cash reward of Rs. 1,25,000, 2nd prize – Rs. 1,00,000 and 3rd prize – Rs. 75,000. Also, there will be 10 budding ‘Krishi Pandit’ awards, with a cash prize of Rs. 50,000 each. The farmers can apply through K-Kisan portal with RSK Login ID, at their nearest Raitha Samparka Kendra/  Nagarika Seva Kendra or on their own, by submission of supporting records. The last date for applying is Aug. 30, according to a press release issued by the Joint Director of Agriculture, Mysuru.
