Sir,
There seems to be no one caring about people and government agencies cutting the roads across Mysuru city.
New roads which are laid just a few months back are randomly dug. After finishing the work, they just fill it back with mud in a haphazard manner.
The mud filled road cuttings become craters in a few weeks.
Are there no regulations in place for these road cuttings? Are people taking permissions? If roads are cut without permission, is any engineer from MCC or some other authority catching and penalising them?
Is it not very easy to catch the culprits? Who is paying for the damages? Who is responsible for the accidents that occur because of these craters? What an inconvenient situation for patients in ambulance and elderly travellers with back / neck ailments?

Just blaming the government for potholes are easy. But these roads are cut by public. Doesn’t a person who cut the road feel ashamed seeing people suffer in front of his house daily?
Hope to see government departments working on this and make Mysuru a great city to live.
