Chosen for Dr. Raj, Dr. Vishnu awards

Bengaluru:  The State Government has selected veteran actress Jayamala and film producer Sa.Ra. Govind for the prestigious Dr. Rajkumar Award for the year 2020 and 2021 respectively.

The Government also announced the names for Puttanna Kanagal Award and Dr. Vishnuvardhan Award for year 2020 and 2021.

While renowned Director M.S. Sathyu has been selected for Puttanna Kanagal Award-2020, Director Shivarudraiah has been selected for the year 2021.

Meanwhile, Pragathi Ashwath Narayan and senior actor M.K. Sundar have been selected for Dr. Vishnuvardhan Lifetime Achievement Award for 2020 and 2021 respectively.

The awardees will receive a cash prize of Rs. 5 lakh each along with 50 gram gold medal.
