Encouragement to local entrepreneurship
Mysore/Mysuru: Mysuru Santhe-2026, a grand three-day event that reflects Mysuru’s cultural charm, heritage, tourism, business spirit and pride — along with music, comedy, dance and entertainment — will be held from Feb. 6 to 8 at Maharaja’s College Grounds in city.
The event will be open to the public every day from 11 am to 10 pm. It aims to promote women and local entrepreneurship, while also serving as a joyful platform for families, friends and tourists to spend quality time.
The inauguration will take place on Feb. 6 at 5.30 pm in the presence of Madhu Chandan, Founder of Organic Mandya; Jhanvi, Bigg Boss contestant, anchor and actress; Prof. N.K. Lokanath, Vice-Chancellor, University of Mysore; Prof. Uniyal, Vice-Chancellor and Director of RV University, Mysuru; Dr. P. Jayachandra Raju, President of Global Education Trust; G.S. Somashekar, Deputy Commissioner (Revenue), Mysuru City Corporation and B.S. Ravishankar, Police Inspector, Lakshmipuram Police Station.
More than 100 selected stalls from across the State will offer festival clothing, handmade crafts, home décor items and lifestyle products.
Major attractions include local and multi-cuisine food stalls, a special play and activity zone for children, workshops, interactive programmes and luxury car and bike exhibitions. Every evening from 6 pm onwards, Kannada songs, music and cultural performances will be held.
The event is being organised by Bharath Gowda, Karthik Mahesh, Dr. Pooja Joshi, Smita Balu, Snehal Igoor and Ramya Gowda. The organisers have appealed the people of Mysuru to participate and celebrate this three-day festival. Entry fee for Mysuru Santhe-2026 is Rs. 60.
