Avail Orthopaedic and Spine Surgeries under Yeshasvini Scheme at NJ Hospital

March 7, 2026

Mysore/Mysuru: NJ Hospital has highlighted the availability of advanced orthopaedic and spine surgeries under the Yeshasvini Health Insurance Scheme, creating awareness among eligible beneficiaries across the Mysuru region.

The Hospital’s Orthopaedic and Spine Department, led by Dr. H.S. Manu Prakash, has successfully completed 100 orthopaedic and spine surgeries under the Yeshasvini Scheme in 2025. These include Total Knee Replacement (TKR), Total Hip Replacement (THR) and various spine procedures performed with a structured surgical approach and post-operative rehabilitation support.

Speaking on the occasion, Dr. Manu Prakash said: “Orthopaedic and spine conditions can significantly affect mobility and independence. Many patients hesitate to seek treatment due to financial concerns. It is important for Yeshasvini beneficiaries to know that essential procedures such as joint replacements and spine surgeries are covered under the scheme. Timely treatment can help patients regain function and improve their quality of life.”

The hospital stated that eligible patients can access procedures such as TKR, THR and spine surgeries under the Yeshasvini Scheme, helping them receive timely treatment without the burden of high medical expenses.

Dr. Durgesh, Chairman of NJ Hospital, said: “At NJ Hospital, our guiding principle has always been ‘Service First.’ We remain committed to providing ethical & quality driven healthcare while ensuring that Government-supported schemes like Yeshasvini truly benefit the community.”
