CESC lineman dies of short circuit

Mysore/Mysuru: A 37-year-old lineman of Chamundeshwari Electricity Supply Corporation (CESC), met his tragic end, when he allegedly suffered electric shock due to short circuit while repairing a transformer on Chikkanerale-Vaderahosahalli Road, Periyapatna taluk in the district this morning.

The deceased has been identified as Bhagesh. The incident occurred at around 10 am. His body was seen in a sitting position, with his shoulders held on to the supporting iron rods installed horizontally, supporting the transformer, on either side.
