Mysore/Mysuru: Dr. A.P. Poornima, a distinguished academic and cultural leader, has been conferred with the prestigious international award, “Hindi Gaurav Samman-2026,” by Sahitya Arpan, Dubai (UAE). This global recognition celebrates her dedication and immense service to Hindi language and literature.

Dr. Poornima currently serves as the Associate Professor and Head of the Department of Hindi at St. Philomena’s College, Mysuru. With over 11 years of academic experience, she has been a cornerstone of the institution since 2017.

She has published 14 books and has received 14 prestigious awards for her contribution to education and literature. Dr. Poornima was recently bestowed with the National-level “TGT Mahadevi Verma  Samman-2026.”
