Mysore/Mysuru: Various types of narcotic substances, weighing 862 kgs and 853 grams, which were seized in Mysuru South Police limits & case registered under Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances (NDPS) Act, have been destroyed as per the Court’s order.

Mysuru SP Mallikarjun Baladandi, who is also the Chairman of the District Drug Disposal Committee, conducted a meeting with Committee Members Additional SP L. Nagesh and Mysuru Rural Sub-Division Dy.SP T.B. Rajanna, following which the seized narcotic substances were destroyed on Apr. 6 at E Nano Incinatech Plant at KIADB Industrial Area in Harohalli taluk of Bengaluru South District as per the procedure by the Drug Disposal Committee.
