Mysore/Mysuru: Theatre helps children to develop fresh thinking which contributes in building a healthy society, said renowned theatre director and Indian Theatre Foundation (ITF) Managing Trustee Prasanna.
Speaking after inaugurating National Acting Workshop organised by Indian Institute of Educational Theatre (IIET) in association with Department of Kannada and Culture, Bengaluru at Hardwicke School premises, here recently, he said despite working from the past four years in the field of theatre, the State Government granted us funds lesser than sanctioned to the amateur theatre groups which we have humbly rejected.
“The Institute has been working towards bring children out from mobile addiction and also actors stuck in corners of film cities back to reality for which there is no need to run behind State or Central Governments for funds,” said Prasanna.
