Mysore/Mysuru: Setting out  an objective of strengthening the party in all the three Assembly segments (Krishnaraja, Narasimharaja and Chamaraja) of the city, the JD(S) has planned to hold ‘Janarondige Janata Dal’ (Janata Dal with the People) initiative in the city on Apr. 18.

Presiding over a preliminary meeting of the initiative at a hotel here yesterday, former Minister and State JD(S) Working President S.R. Mahesh said the initiative will be held in the presence of State JD(S) Youth Wing President Nikhil Kumaraswamy at the open space in Nanjaraja Bahadur Choultry premises on Vinoba Road at 4 pm on Apr. 18.

Pointing out that Nikhil has already held such initiatives in Periyapatna, K.R. Nagar, Hunsur, T. Narasipur and other taluks over the past couple of months, Mahesh said that now the party has planned to strengthen the party in urban areas too by holding the event in city.
