Mysore/Mysuru: The installation ceremony of the new team of Spoorthi – The Ladies Wing of Builders’ Association of India (BAI), Mysore Centre, for the year 2026-27, was held at Mysore Builders Charitable Trust (MBCT) auditorium in the city recently.

The list of office-bearers  is as follows:  President – Shanthi C. Bharadwaj, Immediate Past President – Kavitha Gururaj, Vice-President  – Jahnavi Dinesh, Hon. Secretary – Veena Ashok, Hon. Treasurer – Dr. Roopashree Sheshadri and  Advisor – P. Shalini Nagaraj.

Executive Committee Members: Jyothi Prabhu, Anupama Sriram, Srilakshmi Vasudevan and  Chethana Ramesh.

As part of the Silver Jubilee celebrations, all 24 past Presidents of Spoorthi were introduced through a PPT presentation highlighting the key activities carried out during their tenures.

Vasanthi Hariprakash, Founder and CEO, Pickle Jar Media, who was the chief guest, installed the incoming President Shanthi C. Bharadwaj and her team.

K.R. Prabhakara Rao, Chairman, BAI Mysore Centre 2026-27 administered the oath of office for the team 2026-27.

In her acceptance speech, Shanthi Bharadwaj emphasised the need to address the issues related to construction industry and its fraternity needs. She announced this year’s theme as “Rejuvenate, Reignite, Rise.”
