Mysore/Mysuru: Builders’ Association of India (BAI), Mysuru Centre, has organised a month-long programme as part of World Environment Day celebrations from June 5 to 30, said World Environment Month (WEM) Committee Chairman C.D. Krishna.
Addressing mediapersons at Pathrakarthara Bhavan recently, he said, “BAI is celebrating World Environment Month with the theme ‘Inspired by Nature for Climate, for our Future’ in collaboration with Mysore Builders Charitable Trust.”
The inauguration will be held on June 5 followed by Green Mysuru Marathon on June 7, planting of saplings in several localities in and around Mysuru on June 12, cyclothon on June 14, drawing and painting competition for school children on June 14, a day with home-maker workshop on use of eco-friendly home appliances on June 17, MyGreen 2026 Exhibition – Eco Friendly Expo on June 20 & 21, International Yoga Day on June 21, planting saplings in several localities in and around Mysuru on June 25, trekking on June 29, Green Treasure Hunt on June 28 and valedictory of World Environment Month celebrations on June 30.
