 ‘Award Bharat Ratna to H.D. Deve Gowda’

The city’s Arivu Samsthe offered special pujas at the famed 101 Ganapathy temple at Agrahara and prayed for a long and healthy life of JD(S) Supremo and former Prime Minister H.D. Deve Gowda on the occasion of the veteran leader’s 94th birthday celebrations yesterday.

Speaking on the occasion, former Mayor Sandesh Swamy urged the Centre to bestow ‘Bharat Ratna’ on Deve Gowda. Mysuru Hotel Owners Association President C. Narayanagowda, MCCI President K.B. Lingaraju and others were present.
