K-CET results out

Mysuru, June 6 – The Karnataka Examination Authority (KEA) has announced the results of Karnataka-Common Entrance Test (K-CET)-2026, for admission to Under-Graduate (UG) courses — Engineering, Technology, Agricultural Sciences, Nursing, Veterinary sciences, Pharmacy etc. —  in professional colleges of Karnataka.

Announcing the results at the KEA office in Malleswaram, Bengaluru, this noon, Medical Education Minister Dr. Sharan Prakash Patil said that the K-CET was held on Apr. 23 and 24 at 745 centres across the State, for which 3,30,646 students had registered.

The KEA had announced the revised key answers on May 10, he said adding that grace marks were awarded for one question each in Physics and Chemistry, two answers for only one question in Biology and no grace marks in Mathematics.

Out of the 3,09,014 students who had appeared for the CET, 2,92,782 students are eligible for different courses. While 2,82,603 students are eligible for Engineering and Technology courses, 2,09,220 are eligible for B.Sc (Agriculture, Sericulture and Food Science), 2,12,909 are eligible for B.V.Sc, 2,86,609 for B-Pharma, 2,86,965 for Pharma-D, 2,18,785 for B.Sc Nursing, 2,12,730 for BNYS courses and 21,775 for Agriculture (Practical) and 21,838 for B.V.Sc (Practical).

No student from Mysuru figure in the top 10 rankings for Engineering, Veterinary Science, Farm Sciences (Agriculture, Sericulture, Forestry etc.), Nursing, Yoga and Naturopathy (BNYS), B-Pharma and Pharma-D courses, as per the results announced by the KEA.
