Mysuru, June 6 (VNS) – NR Group, owners of Mysore Warriors, have signed 18 players to represent the Mysore Warriors team at the 5th edition of Maharaja Trophy KSCA T20 2026 to be held between June 20 and July 12 at Mysuru, Hubballi and Bengaluru. The players were selected during the auction held at M. Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bengaluru yesterday.
The Mysore Warriors 2026 squad brings together a strong blend of experienced professionals and promising young talent, forming a well-balanced unit for the upcoming season. The franchise made strategic and focused selections at the auction, strengthening key areas across batting, bowling and all-round capabilities.
The bidding process for the Warriors began with all-rounder Vyshak Vijaykumar, whose disciplined bowling and utility in pressure situations set the tone for the squad build-up. This was followed by the acquisition of ace pacer Prasidh Krishna, whose express pace and international experience bring significant firepower to the bowling attack.
In the batting unit, stylish top-order batter Devdutt Padikkal adds elegance, consistency and stability at the crease, anchoring the innings with composure. Strengthening the all-round core is Manoj Bhandage, whose impactful performances provide valuable depth in both the middle order and bowling department. L.R. Chethan, S.U. Karthik and other emerging talents further add depth and promise to the squad, ensuring a strong supporting unit around the core group.

The players roped in during the auction are: Vyshak Vijaykumar, Prasidh M. Krishna, Devdutt Padikkal, Manoj Bhandage, L.R. Chethan, S.U. Karthik, K.P. Karthikeya, Monish Reddy, C. Sanjay Ashwin, S. Agastya, Yuvraj Arora, Likhit M. Bannur, Lavish Kaushal, Ritesh Bhatkal, Madhav Prakash Bajaj, Abhishek Prabhakar, Deepak Devadiga and E.J. Jasper.
Talent Hunt tomorrow
Meanwhile, the Mysore Warriors will conduct the talent hunt to select two players from catchment area for the upcoming Maharaja Trophy T20 2026. The talent hunt will be held at SDNR Wadiyar Stadium in Manasagangothri in city from 8 am on June 7.
The event will be held under the watchful eyes of Mysore Warriors Head Coach Rx Muralidhar and Assistant Coach Vijay Madyalkar. Mysore Warriors Owner Arjun Ranga will be present.
Registration is open to all KSCA-registered players aged above 17 years. Participants must carry their KSCA UID number as mandatory proof for registration.
