‘Ek Sham Mohammed Aziz Ke Naam,’ a Musical Nite programme, organised in memory of legendary playback singer late Mohammed Aziz was held at Dasara Exhibition Grounds in city recently.

Organised by Asif of Sahil Melodies and coordinated by former Corporator Suhail  Baig, noted playback singer from Kolkata Bijay Azeez presented super hit songs of late Mohammed Aziz such as Parwardigar e alam mohtaj hain  tere hum, Tere naam ke sahare be dum me aayega dum from Hindi film Allah Rakha.  Qawwali was presented by Bakash, Tahir, Shahid, Iftekhar and Athaulla. Later, Reshmi Lehri and Asma rendered a few hit songs and enthralled the audience. Athaulla sang a Kannada song from the film Ashwamedha and Tahir sang Bombe Helutaithe from the film Rajakumara.
