Mandya: A couple sustained serious injuries when the car in which they were travelling toppled and fell on the other side of the Mysuru-Bengaluru Highway near Gejjalagere in Maddur taluk of Mandya district of Sunday evening. 

It is learnt that the couple were travelling from Mysuru towards Bengaluru when the accident took place. 

As the car toppled and fell on the other side of the Highway, the vehicle has been completely damaged and the injured have been admitted to MIMS Hospital. 

Traffic was disrupted on the Highway for some time. Maddur Traffic Police have registered a case in this regard.
