Karnataka State Open University (KSOU) has organised an educational seminar titled ‘From access to excellence: The future pathways of distance education’ at KSOU Convocation Hall in Mukthagangothri campus on Hunsur Road, at 11 am on June 20. The book, written by former KSOU Vice-Chancellor Dr. N.S. Ramegowda titled ‘Education: An overview of formal, open and distance learning,’ will also be released on the occasion by Chief Minister D.K. Shivakumar.
Governor Thaawarchand Gehlot, who is also the Chancellor of all State-run Universities, will inaugurate the programme in the presence of Adichunchanagiri Mutt Seer Dr. Sri Nirmalanandanatha Swamiji and Sri Ramakrishna Ashram President Swami Muktidanandaji. KSOU Vice-Chancellor Prof. Sharanappa V. Halse will preside, according to a press release.
