Palahalli Chandrashekar (75), proprietor of Kusuma Chandrashekar Kalyana Mantap on KRS Road, senior JD(S) leader and a resident of Gokulam, passed away following a heart attack at a private hospital in city yesterday.

He leaves behind his mother Gowramma, wife Kusuma, sons Naveen and Nandan and a host of relatives                                                           and friends.

Last rites were held at his native place Palahalli in Srirangapatna taluk this evening, according to family sources.
