Dr. Yathindra provides financial assistance

Mysuru: Urban Development Minister Dr. Yathindra Siddaramaiah, who visited the village yesterday, consoled the grieving family members and relatives of the three deceased persons and provided Rs. 5 lakh financial assistance. He assured the family members of getting more compensation from the State Government. 

Speaking on the occasion, he said that he was pained on hearing the news of the tragedy and added that the accused has already been arrested by the Police.  

Pointing out that he has collected information about the tragedy from the Police, Dr. Yathindra said that he has instructed the Police to initiate legal action against the accused and assured that the Government will see that the accused would get stringent punishment legally. He assured that he was with the grieving family members and relatives at this time. MP Sunil Bose, MLA Puttarangashetty & Uppara community leaders were present.
