Best Science Book Award

The book titled ‘Arogya Vishwakosha’ (Health Encyclopaedia), authored by Dr. S.P. Yoganna, Founder-Chairman, Suyog Hospital, Mysuru, has been selected for the ‘Best Science Book’ Award (2025-26) by the Karnataka Science and Technology Academy (KSTA), Bengaluru. The work contains text under 3,000 titles and 2,000 sub-titles. The book is the first such comprehensive encyclopaedia published in Kannada.

Dr. Yoganna has more than 60 medical works to his credit. He has won several awards and prizes for his works, including Kannada Sahitya Academy Award for his book ‘Adhyatmika Arogya Darshana’ in 2020 and Kannada Sahitya Parishat’s Endowment Award for his work   ‘Arogya Yendarenu?’ in 2019.
