Balachandra Kali (51), a photographer, passed away following illness at a private hospital in city yesterday. He was residing in Bengaluru.

A native of Bannur and an alumnus of Chamarajendra Academy of Visual Arts (CAVA) in Mysuru, he leaves behind his wife, two sons and a host of relatives and friends.

Last rites were held at Bannur this afternoon.
