Prime Minister Narendra Modi held a brief mini roadshow from the Oval Grounds till Viveka Smaraka in Mysuru last evening. Accompanied by special security forces, Modi waved to the crowds gathered on both sides of the road. In anticipation of his arrival, large numbers of people assembled along Rama Vilas Road, Narayana Shastri Road and his convoy route and chanted “Modi, Modi” as his cavalcade passed by. Many were taking photos and videos, marking the momentous occasion. Security vehicles moved slowly due to the crowds, which in turn slowed the PM’s vehicle, allowing him to wave repeatedly to cheering public.
