B. Basavaraju (63), Congress leader, former Vice-President of Hosahundi Gram Panchayat and a resident of S. Uttanahalli, passed away yesterday.

He leaves behind his wife, two daughters, one son and a host of relatives and friends.

Last rites were held at his farm land in Uttanahalli this afternoon, according to family sources.
