Soldier injured in road mishap succumbs at hospital

Hunsur: An Agniveer soldier, who had sustained injuries after he fell from his bike, succumbed to injuries at a private hospital in Mysuru yesterday. The deceased is Nandan (24), son of Nanjegowda and Roopa couple of Hirikyathanahalli village in the taluk.

Nandan, who was serving at Ladak in Jammu & Kashmir, had obtained leave and had come to the village 15 days ago.

Yesterday, Nandan was proceeding on his bike to Chamundi Hill in Mysuru, when he lost control of the bike, fell down and sustained serious injuries.

Though he was immediately admitted to a private hospital in Mysuru, he succumbed to injuries at the hospital.
