Mysuru: The parking fee at Mysuru Railway Station is revised with effect from Oct.1, 2017. The revised slabs for Bicycle, Scooter (Motor Cycle) and Cars are as follows:

While providing parking facilities to passengers is important it is ensured that the available land was put to optimum use while determining user charges; Issues like area available and area earmarked for parking; Implementation of GST for parking; Existing charges in adjoining areas like the Suburban bus stand, City bus stand, Mysuru Zoo, Palace  and other public places and the present market value of the land earmarked for parking in comparison with its earning potentials are considered justifying the revision since it was done 4 years back, according to a press release from Dr. S.G. Yatish, Sr.Divisional Commercial Manager,    South Western Railway, Divisional Office,Commercial Branch, Mysuru.
