JSS Multispecialty Hospital had organised a programme to mark World Kidney Day at its premises on Friday. The event was inaugurated by former Minister V. Sreenivasa Prasad.

Speaking on the occasion, Prasad stressed the importance of a healthy diet to maintain the balance of Kidney health and also shared post-transplant experience with gathering.

He also added that people need not worry about diabetes and kidney ailments as there was advanced treatment available for both the diseases. JSS Hospital had also launched a special package of Rs. 299 for people to avail health  check-up facility.

JSS Mahavidyapeeta Medical Director R. Mahesh, Hospital Director Dr. M.D. Ravi, JSS Medical College Principal Dr. H. Basavanagowdappa, Hospital Medical Superintendent Dr. M. Guruswamy and others were present on the occasion.
