Mysuru:  K.B. Ganapathy, Editor-in-Chief, Star of Mysore, has described former Minister V. Sreenivasa Prasad as a real winner who won in the true sense though losing the recent Nanjangud by-election. He was speaking at Kalamandira yesterday about the book ‘Swabhimana Rajakaranada Hinnele – Nanjanagudu Vidhana Sabha Upachunavane’ written by Prasad.

“I have known Prasad since 35 years and let me look at him in three dimensions — as a person, as a politician and a writer. He is a good public speaker and has a good sense of humour too. Many people have back-stabbed him. He might have lost the Nanjangud by-poll but he is a real winner in the true sense. How many hear about the candidate who won in that by-poll? But Prasad is in the news every day,” Ganapathy said.

“It is very rare to see a leader like Prasad these days. Value-based politicians like him are an asset to the society and even if he retires from active politics, he must be there to guide the youth,” he said.
