Mysuru: An event titled ‘Entrepreneurial Journey’ was jointly organised by JSS Centre for Management Studies (JSS CMS), Sri Jayachamarajendra College of Engineering (SJCE) and JSS Science and Technology University, Mysuru at JSS CMS recently. This programme was organised as a prelude to Mannovex-18.

The speakers during the programme comprised successful entrepreneurs like Prashanth, CEO, Safe Wheels Group of Companies; Annapurna Srikanth, Chartered Accountant; Dr. Chaitra Narayan, Co-Founder, Codagu Agritech and Rohan, MD, The Quorum Hotel.

The speakers gave inputs to the MBA students on various challenges faced by entrepreneurs, the financial aspects, seeking for opportunities, dealing with emotional status and an insight about the direction they need to take to start an entrepreneurship.

They emphasised on the role of creativity, risk taking ability and opportunity spotting capability in entrepreneurial career.

The speakers also discussed the role of young entrepreneurs in establishing the start-ups and provided various examples of successful entrepreneur and factors that influenced their success.
