A budding Wushu Champion…

October 17, 2022

Pranathi Giridhar, a 2nd standard student of Police Public School (born November 17, 2014), is a budding WUSHU player from Mysuru. She is the current Wushu State Champion in Sub-Junior Category [Below 21 Kg].

She got Gold Medal in 21st Karnataka State WUSHU Championship held at Shivamogga recently which is her hattrick Gold in State-level. She is also a two-time Bronze Medalist at the Nationals. She holds the record of being Youngest Medalist at the National-level.

While the average age of players in the Sub-Junior category who get into the Nationals is 10 to 12 years, Pranathi holds a National Medal at the age of 7. That’s another feather to her cap.
