A daughter’s nostalgic memories

June 30, 2021

Sir,

I would like to thank Girija Madhavan and Star of Mysore for the nostalgic memories in her article “Maharani’s College in Old Mysore: A Nostalgic Recall” published in SOM dated June 14.

Girija had mentioned her interaction with my mother H.T. Shantha, who was her logic teacher. The article was very heart-warming as it coincides with my mother’s birth centenary year.

She retired from Maharaja’s College as Professor of Philosophy and passed away on June 20, 1999.
