Accident victim succumbs to injuries in hospital

Mysuru:A person, who was severely injured in an accident on July 4 and undergoing treatment at a private hospital here, breathed his last at the hospital yesterday afternoon.

The deceased has been identified as Rajesh (25), son of late Nagaraj and a resident of Hosakote in Yelwal hobli.

Rajesh, on July 4 was coming to Mysuru from Srirangapatna side on his Hero Honda Splendor Plus bike (KA 09 HG 5172), when a KSRTC bus (KA 42 F 1735) which was also coming from Srirangapatna side, rammed into the bike at the traffic signal near Columbia Asia Hospital injuring Rajesh seriously on the head.

He was immediately taken to Columbia Asia Hospital, where he was provided first aid and was later shifted to Anaga Hospital near Agrahara here.

Yesterday at about 4 pm, Rajesh succumbed to injuries after failing to the respond to the treatment.

N.R. Traffic Inspector C. Kiran Kumar has registered a case in this regard.
