Action sought against unauthorised schools

February 10, 2018

Mysuru: The Samaja Parivartana Janandolana – Karnataka (SPJK) has urged the Education Department authorities to release a list of unauthorised CBSE, ICSE and IGCSE Schools in the district, so that the parents can be careful while admitting their wards.

In a press release, SPJK office-bearers have sought the Education Department to release a list of authorised schools along with their affiliation number.

The release urged to close down such schools which do not allow admission under RTE Act and also fail to comply with other provisions of the RTE Act, failing which the Department will be held responsible for the functioning of unauthorised schools.

They have also warned of a legal battle if no action is taken against unauthorised institutions at the earliest.
