Addl. DC seeks co-operation of netas for deletion of ineligible voters

Mysore/Mysuru: Additional Deputy Commissioner B.S. Manjunatha Swamy has sought the co-operation of political parties for deletion of ineligible voters from the electoral rolls, by providing necessary information to the authorities.

Addressing a meeting of representatives of political parties at his office here recently, Manjunathswamy high-lighted the role of political parties in making the month-long special voter list revision drive a big success. 

Pointing out that the month-long drive will go on till Dec.17, he said that Booth Level Officers (BLO) will assist in the procedures for inclusion or deletion of names, change of address, transfer of name to another booth etc.

Stating that the revision will take place on all working days till Dec.17, during which all youths who attain the age of 18 years as on Jan.1, 2021 can register for the electoral rolls, he said that the special drive will also be held on all Sundays (Nov.22.29, Dec.6,13) and also on public holiday on Dec.3 (Kanaka Jayanthi). 

Voters can also register by online through website karsec.gov.in
