AGM of Muslim Co-operative Bank held

Mysuru: The 104th Annual General Body Meeting (AGM) of Muslim Co-operative Bank Ltd. was  held at its main branch on New Sayyaji Rao Road in city recently.

Bank President Dr. Abdul Ravoof, who presided, thanked the share holders for extending their co-operation for the overall development of the Bank. 

Former President and present Director of the Bank Mir Humayun also spoke on the occasion. 

Earlier, the AGM began with the recitation of verses from the Holy Quran by Hazrath Moulana Mohamed Zaka Ulla Siddiqui, President of All India Milli Council, Mysuru District Unit. Bank Vice-President Ahmed Saleem Ahmed welcomed. Md. Khaleel Ulla Shariff, Manager, Main Branch of the Bank read the notice of the 104th AGM.

Manager of Udayagiri Branch Mohammed Masood Ahmed presented the Director’s Report for 2018-19. Director of the Bank Mohamed Akram Shaan proposed a vote of thanks. 

Later, a few senior members of the Bank were felicitated and scholarships distributed to the children who have excelled in II PUC and SSLC. 

St. Philomena’s student Tayaba, who got distinction in MA Economics, was also felicitated. General Manager of the Bank Raffath Zareen and all the Directors of the Bank were present.

AGM of United Minorities Credit Co-op. Society 

The 22nd AGM of United Minorities Credit Co-operative Society Ltd. was held at its Rajivnagar Branch near Masjid-e-Nimra, Rajivnagar recently. Society President Alhaj S.Moinuddin Pasha presided. 

In the evening, United Minorities Credit Co-operative Society and Anjuman-e-Hadeeqathul Adab had jointly organised ‘Mehfil-e-Mushaira’ in the Rajivnagar Branch of Society. Famous Urdu poet Hazrath Abdul Rahman Khan Gowhar Tarikervi presided the Poets Meet.

Urdu poets Nazir Nusrath Hangama of Bengaluru, Mohamed Ghouse Khateeb of Nagmangala, Ameer Jan Ameer of Nagmangala, Nusrath Raheem of Chikkamagalur, Tanveer Azeem of Kunigal, Syed Ahmed Rahil, Asar Sayeed, Ayeesha Chand,  Zahara Khanum, Mushtaq Sayeed and Abbas Ali Nawaz, all from Mysuru recited their poems. The poets were felicitated on the occasion. 

Star of Mysore columnist and former President of Anjuman-e-Hadeeqathul Adab Dr. K. Javeed Nayeem and President of Farooqia Institutions Prof. Riaz Ahmed were present on the occasion.
