AITA Men’s Ranking Tennis Tournament: Suraj Prabodh finishes runner-up

Mysuru lad Suraj R Prabodh taking part in the Rs.2.5 lakh AITA Men’s Ranking Tennis Tournament at the Harvest Tennis Academy in Jassowal (Punjab) finished runner-up in the men’s singles event, yesterday.

In the final, Ishaque Eqbal beat Suraj 2-6, 6-4, 6-4 to clinch the title. Earlier in the semi-finals, Suraj had scored an upset win over top-seed Kunal Anand 6-1, 7-6(4).
