Akrama-Sakrama deadline extended

The deadline for regularisation (Sakrama) of unauthorised houses built on Government land in rural areas before Jan. 1, 2012, has been extended to Feb. 20. The disposal of accepted applications will be done within one year from the date of deadline (Feb. 20) for receipt of application. Likewise, the deadline for regularisation (Sakrama) of illegal houses built on Government land before Jan. 1, 2012 in Urban areas coming under the jurisdictional limits of City Corporation, TMC’s, CMS’s and Town Panchayats, has been extended to Feb. 27. The applications can be submitted at all Atalji Janasnehi Kendras along with necessary documents, respective Taluk/ district, according to a release issued by the Additional DC.
